Please enter at our main entrance, the new vaulted atrium accessible from the north parking lot. Main parking for patients and visitors is on the north side of the hospital nearest to the atrium lobby. Visitor parking is also available in the adjacent Medical Office Building parking lot. There is also visitor parking in the East lot for those visiting physicians or attending a monthly clinic.
Outpatient registration is also located at this entrance, with parking conveniently located just outside the door. The Pleasant Avenue entrance on the south is open only 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday thru Friday, primarily for access to Human Resources and Administration.
An entrance on the southeast corner of the building provides easy access to our Physician's Specialty Clinic.
The emergency entrance is on the north, accessible off north Main Street. Curbside drop off is available and parking is just outside the emergency Department entrance.

From the East on I-88
Driving west on Rt. 88, exit at Sugar Grove/Rt. 56/Rt. 47 south, driving four miles to Rt. 47. Turn right on to Rt. 47 and take it south to Rt. 34, a distance of about 8 miles. Turn right (west) on to Rt. 34. Proceed on Rt. 34 about 4 miles, through the city of Plano and for about 4 miles more to Sandwich. At the second stoplight, (Main Street), turn right (north). Drive one mile. Valley West is on the northeast corner of the Main Street/Pleasant Avenue intersection. The main entrance is off the north parking lot.
From the West on I-88
Driving East on Rt. 88 exit at the DeKalb, Annie Glidden exit. Take the first right on to Fairview Rd. Driving east on Fairview Rd. go to the second stop sign. Turn right (south) on to Rt. 23 (4th Street). Take Rt. 23 south to Rt. 34. Turn left (east) on to Rt. 34. Rt. will take you directly in to Sandwich. At the first stoplight, turn left on to Main Street. Drive one mile to Pleasant Avenue. Valley West Community Hospital is on the northeast corner of the Main Street/Pleasant Avenue intersection. The main entrance is off the north parking lot.
From I-39 (Rockford, Rochelle)
Going north or south on Rt. 39 exit on to Rt. 34 and follow directions from the west on Rt. 34.
From Route 47 (Elburn, Yorkville, Hampshire, Morris)
From Rt. 47 North or South, turn west (right from the north, left from the south) on to Rt. 34 and follow the directions from the east on Rt. 34.Cities & Airports

Take Rt. 23 south to Rt. 34. Turn left (east) on to Rt. 34. Rt. will take you directly in to Sandwich. At the first stoplight, turn left on to Main Street. Take Main Street one mile north and Valley West is on the right side of the street.
From Chicago O'Hare International Airport
Take I-90 east out of the airport for _ mile, exiting on to I-294 south. Continue on I-294 a few miles to the I-88 Aurora exit. Take I-88, passing all Aurora exits, and exit at Sugar Grove. Rt. 56/Rt. 47 south exit. Drive four miles to Rt. 47. Turn right on to Rt. 47 and take it south to Rt. 34, a distance of about 8 miles. Turn right (west) on to Rt. 34.
